Norglass Liquid Glass is a transparent glass finish that can be easily poured onto surfaces like bars, table tops, and used for decoupage. It creates a glossy and smooth appearance, mimicking the look of actual liquid glass. It offers strong adhesion, resistance to abrasion, and flexibility.
This product is a high-strength laminating resin that is also effective for waterproofing and as an adhesive.
To enhance the Liquid Glass Epoxy, you can use Liquid Glass Colourants and Liquid Glass Metallics for additional effects. It is especially suitable for creating unique and stunning river tables. Below is a video that provides an introduction to creating your own river table.
This product has various applications, including filling holes in materials like timber or concrete, as well as for decoupage projects. Once mixed, it becomes completely clear. The recommended mixing ratio is 2 parts resin to 1 part volume. You can apply it using a brush, roller, or by pouring it on.
When applying it to a horizontal surface such as a tabletop, bartop, or river table, it is important to inspect the area beforehand. If there are any cracks or knot holes, it is advisable to apply a small amount of liquid glass and brush coat those areas first to prevent the formation of air pockets. Allow it to cure overnight before doing the final pour. If bubbles appear during the application, you can use a hot air gun held about 30 cm away from the surface to help the air bubbles rise through the film.
