Norglass Liquid Glass 1.5L Kit
Norglass Liquid Glass is a transparent glass finish that can be poured onto surfaces such as bars, table tops, and for decoupage. It provides a glossy and smooth appearance, resembling actual liquid glass.
It has strong adhesion, resistance to abrasion, and flexibility. This product is a high-strength laminating resin that is also effective in waterproofing and adhesive properties.
For added effects, you can use Liquid Glass Colourants and Liquid Glass Metallics to enhance the Liquid Glass Epoxy. It is particularly suitable for creating unique and stunning river tables.
This product has various uses, including filling holes in surfaces like timber or concrete, as well as for decoupage applications.
When mixed, it becomes water clear in color. The recommended mixing ratio is 2 parts resin to 1 part volume. You can apply it using a brush, roller, or by pouring it on. When applying it to a horizontal surface such as a tabletop, bartop, or river table, it is important to inspect the area beforehand. If there are any cracks or knot holes, it is advisable to apply a small amount of liquid glass and brush coat those areas first to prevent the formation of air pockets. Allow it to cure overnight before doing the final pour. If bubbles appear during the application, you can use a hot air gun held about 30 cm away from the surface to help the air bubbles rise through the film.
