Elastomeric Marine Sealant is a high-performance, multi-purpose marine-grade sealing compound designed to replace traditional polyurethane, polysulfide, and silicone sealants in demanding applications. Engineered for superior adhesion, flexibility, and long-term durability, it delivers exceptional performance in both above and below waterline environments.
This one-part elastomeric formula bonds tenaciously to fibreglass, wood, metal, glass, Lexan®, Plexiglass, and a wide range of marine plastics. It features a fast-skinning time of approximately 10 minutes, allowing for efficient application on both small and large jobs. Once cured, it forms a tough yet highly flexible seal capable of absorbing movement, vibration, expansion, and compression.
With excellent resistance to saltwater, oils, petrol, diesel, and teak cleaners, this sealant is built for harsh marine conditions. It cures within 1–7 days depending on environmental conditions and can be wet sanded and painted once fully cured, offering excellent finishing versatility.
