Description
Sudbury / Rule Elastomeric Marine Sealant | Clear | 88mL Tube
Elastomeric Marine Sealant is a premium multi-purpose, marine-grade sealing compound designed for demanding marine and industrial applications where strength, flexibility, and long-term durability are essential. This compact 88mL tube format is ideal for precision repairs, detailing work, and controlled application in tight or small-scale sealing tasks.
This advanced one-part elastomeric formula is engineered to replace traditional polyurethane, polysulfide, and silicone sealants. It bonds tenaciously to fibreglass, wood, metal, glass, Lexan®, Plexiglass, and a wide range of marine plastics, delivering superior adhesion and long-lasting performance.
With a fast-skinning time of approximately 10 minutes and a full cure time of 1–7 days depending on environmental conditions, it provides excellent working characteristics for professional marine use. Once cured, it can be wet sanded and painted for a clean, finished appearance.
Its highly elastic formulation allows it to twist, bend, expand, and compress without failure, making it ideal for joints and components subject to movement and vibration. It is suitable for heavy-duty service above or below the waterline and provides strong resistance to saltwater, teak cleaners, oil, petrol, and diesel fuel.
