Description
Sudbury Elastomeric Marine Sealant | Black | 295mL Cartridge
Sudbury Elastomeric Marine Sealant is a premium multi-purpose marine-grade sealing compound designed to replace traditional polyurethane, polysulfide, and silicone sealants in demanding marine applications. Engineered for superior adhesion, flexibility, and long-term durability, it is ideal for professional sealing tasks such as hatch and portlight installation where reliability is critical.
This advanced one-part elastomeric formula bonds tenaciously to fibreglass, wood, metal, glass, Lexan®, Plexiglass, and a wide range of marine plastics. It features a fast-skinning time of approximately 10 minutes, allowing for efficient installation work, while curing within 1–7 days depending on environmental conditions. Once cured, it can be wet sanded and painted for a clean, professional finish.
Designed for heavy-duty marine service above or below the waterline, this sealant provides excellent flexibility and compression performance, allowing it to twist, bend, expand, and compress without failure. It is highly resistant to saltwater, teak cleaners, oil, petrol, and diesel fuel, making it suitable for harsh marine environments.
With a long shelf life of up to 3 years, Sudbury Elastomeric Sealant offers dependable performance and convenience for both professional and maintenance applications.
