Constructed using a tapered carbon composite tube with Ronstan's advanced dual laminate construction, it delivers exceptional stiffness, strength, and durability while keeping weight to an absolute minimum.
The tapered design provides maximum rigidity at the helmsman's end for precise steering feel and improved resistance to breakage during demanding sailing conditions. A UV-resistant urethane universal joint offers smooth articulation in all directions for fast, accurate helm response, while the quick-fit snap-on base allows the extension to be removed easily for transport, storage, or security.
