I have a 2005 Riviera, part of the topsides has been repainted and part is gellcoat. This is the only polish that i have found works on the painted sections, it also produces a good shine on the gellcoat. Contrary to the instructions i have found the best results by applying by hand and buffing off with a tufted wool pad on a rotary polisher.

I could not get my Fibreglass boat to the shine as i wanted. I suspect it may have a painted finish. Tried all the products i usually use but the result was patchy. I applied Awlcare with a pad rubbing it well into the surface. polishing off by hand did not produce decent finish. Despite what the instructions say, i achieved the most even glossy finish buffing it off with a tufted wood pad on a rotary polisher. I bought more and will continue to use.
