Breaking strains are calculated according to Yarn Tenacity Specifications supplied By Yarn Manufacturer. These should be used as an indication ONLY. Rope must be tested for specific uses. Breaking strain is NOT the Safe Working Load. Variations up to 25% can occur with poor splicing or short lengths. Working load must never exceed 20% of the Strengths Shown on the Break strength chart. Never allow product to come in contact with sharp edges under load.
