Installation Instructions:
Preparation:
- Leave the plastic boot on the coax cable until ready to install (protects the termination).
- Twist the centre conductor strands tightly to allow smooth insertion into the centre pin.
Installation Steps:
- Slide Ferrule (a) and Collar (b) over the coax cable (check orientation).
- Slide the plug body over the centre conductor.
- Push the plug body firmly under the braid until fully seated.
- Ensure the centre conductor exits cleanly (no loose or stray strands).
- Slide the collar back over the plug body.
- Push the ferrule firmly against the plug body to lock the braid.
- Solder or crimp the centre pin to the centre conductor and trim any excess wire.
