    Float Switches & Alarms

    Float switches are designed to set off an alarm or bilge pump when the water level increases above a certain height. They are often installed alongside bilge pumps and can activate the bilge pump to start pumping the water out until the water level lowers. Rule, Whale and Johnson are the most common types of float switches.
